Perennial Conference-USA contender Southern Mississippi had announced today in a press conference that they have adopted Knute Rockne’s old philosophy of playing ‘anyone, anywhere.’
Richard Giannini went on to say, “We feel that the Golden Eagles can compete with anyone of the field of battle. That’s why we’re proud to have Brandon Sumral (DB), Martevious Young (QB), LeVance Richmond (DB), and Johdrick Morris (WR) representing Southern Miss on the next season of Yo Momma.”
Giannini continued, “We gotta represent. UAB’s game is so weak, they couldn’t beat yo momma in a 40 yard dash for a bag of chips.” His comment was answered by much hooting and hollering from the gathered crowd.
Jeff Bower said “Martevious the Devious Young’s gonna destroy the competition so bad, ya’ll gonna find out why they call the show ‘Yo Momma.’ Cause after Young gets down with them, they’ll all be crying all the way home goin ‘Yo, momma, momma!’”
Charlie Weis, the current coach of Notre Dame responded to Southern Miss’s claim. “I’m unconcerned about the Golden Eagles this year. Jimmy Clausen will wreck their house so bad their premiums are going to go up 3.4% with no deductions possible.”
After conferring with his judges, two guys nobody ever heard of, Fez decided to give the weekly award to Southern Miss, “because they had the tighter game.”
Southern Mississippi’s kickoff of the ‘07 Yo Momma season will be at 3:30 PM on ESPN2.
